Checking Compatibility

Samsung reuses the same panel size across several chassis revisions — that includes models like UA65NU7100, UA65RU7100, UA65NU7020, UA65NU7090, UA65NU7300, UA65RU7300, UE65NU7105K, UN65NU7100F, UN65NU7200F, UE65NU7092, UE65NU7100, UE65NU7179U, UE65NU7105, UE65RU7102, and UN65NU7090G — so the screen size or model number alone won't always tell you which LED bar is fitted.

Before you order, compare your original LED bars against the listing: voltage, connector type, LEDs per bar, and the number of bars in a full set. Part numbers can be a moving target too — the same physical bar is often sold under more than one code, and not every matching code will be listed on this page. In a handful of cases, the only reliable way to confirm the exact bar revision is to open the set and check the strip itself.

Installing Your LED Strips

Fitting these strips doesn't call for any extra hardware in most cases. On the sets that do need double-sided tape to remount the bars, it comes pre-applied to the strip, so there's nothing else to source before you start.

Picture Gone but Sound Still Working?

A blank or black screen with normal audio is the textbook symptom of one or more failed LEDs on the backlight strip. To check, switch the TV on and shine a flashlight close to the screen — if you can just make out a dim picture or menu underneath, the panel and electronics are fine and a worn-out backlight strip is almost certainly the fix you need.
